What does your day look like?
With a delicious breakfast behind you, you are ready for a new working day. Because of Corona, we will be working from home as much as possible for the time being, but when the content of your work requires it, you will come to the office. So we don’t expect you to be in the office every day, but we do expect you to stay in touch with your colleagues every day.
You make another coffee and get ready for the first meeting with your colleagues. Together you go over the past week and the challenges and opportunities for the coming days. Exchanging best practices and explaining successes really gives you energy for the rest of the week!
After lunch, you jump in the car for another week of customer contacts. You have an appointment with a company for which you worked out a contract proposal. You are well prepared and look forward to a negotiation in which you look for a win-win situation for both parties.
Back home, you answer a few more emails and phone calls before preparing for your next day of work.
Your responsibilities
- As an Account Manager, you will be working in an enthusiastic team where enthusiasm and a customer focus are key. Your focus is on the sustainable expansion and maintenance of your portfolio.
- You realise the set quantitative and qualitative targets.
- You are a gatekeeper of our values to the customers. You prospect and build new sustainable customer relationships. You build and maintain lasting partnerships with existing customers.
- You initiate and set up sales actions in order to realise the set objectives.
- You are responsible for making and carrying out customer visits.
- You implement customer data in the relevant CRM systems.
- You are responsible for preparing and following up quotations.
- You share relevant information about the market, products, services, prices, etc.
- You will report to our Sales Manager.
What do we expect from you?
- You have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the ICT or software sector.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French
- You have strong commercial insight.
- You are result-driven and see targets as a challenge.
- You are communicatively strong, proactive and can enthuse people.
- You are hands-on and strive for sustainable cooperation (internally and externally).
- You have a positive attitude, seeing solutions and opportunities rather than problems.
- You are analytical and you work in a planned and project-based way. Multitasking does not scare you.
- You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
